GPS has vacant undeveloped land (just dirt) the size of a walmart parking lot in front of there property, contacted Owner left message, waiting to see if he's interested in working some kind of agreement with us. They are various way's this can work out, it all depends on what each can bring to the table. We have to figure out how this will pay for itself. I'm talking calling all local forums time. Some options are having them build a lot and renting to us, splitting the cost with advertisers/Sponsors/participants/ etc. and giving us usage privileges, or just selling the property and letting us figure it out.

It all depends on what Sponsors and advertisers are willing to pay for; their decision will be based on how big their return will be, and that will depend on how many people will attend the facility, and that depends on what the facility has to offer them. Simply put, we have to meet both the sponsors/adverstisers and participants needs. Starting off with no buildings makes it easier because we won't need building permits. There is already half a building at GPS, kind of like what was mentioned earlier (no walls just roof.)

THE STABLE? - Page 2 Empty Club Cultures Clashes (CCC)

Post  reezn Sat Jan 17, 2009 11:24 am

We cannot ignore the fact that club cultures clash, Not One of us alone is stonger than all of us together.
I love you I strongly admire RKC for their strong bond and huge meets. I can tell you they are the poster child of what sponsors and advertisers are looking for. The only thing holding back other clubs that like "driving their cars" is random acts of law breaking. Unresponsible driving is what they consider ricey. If we had an official spot, where driving was encouraged, it would not be RICEY. Performance is encouraged, driving is part of performance.

Man thos RKC guys are like the KKK for rice haha.

As long as we have a great spot where people who love to drift or just wanting to learn, than who cares what they think. This has the potential to be pretty big. I have seen alot of things grow in Houston that people were like its never goin to work. But now all you can do is respected because it became a big thing. As long as u have a good amount of people who are serious than you can achieve alot.
