12.7.08 Mineral wells drift event

One last event for this year! 40 dollars to drive just like always, bring a helmet, tires, and a good attitude! If you need directions google Mineral Wells, TX airport. You will see a big parking lot with tons of tire marks in it with satellite mode. If you would more info, just ask!

Secondly, there will be a tandem competition at the end of the day! It will start at apx 2:30 pm.

Event is rain or shine, nothing stops these things from happening, so bring a jacket. Finally it won't be hot out there!

I'd like to make it out, this would be my first event, I'm trying to find a new set of seat belts since my driver side belt is fraying, what else would be needed to pass tech in. Any suggestions on tires, I hear Mineral Wells is know for going through a set pretty quick.

not hard to pass tech. just make sure your battery is tied down and have a helmet and thats it. dont worry about yourseat belt too much but if you wreck its your fault. I had shitty used tires out there and i only got a good 5 or 6 runs on some of them. im buying tires now though. walmart 35 bucks for rear tires
