Brake lights stay on
so my brk lights stay on even when the car is turned off ,someone metioned there bn some plastic bumpers behind the brake light switch that fall out and can cause the brk lights to stay on and ur cruis control to stop workn witch it has ....any body else hear of sumhn like this?

yup that was the prob threw some bolts in there and lights and cruis control work now

CC works now huh? i may have to try that cuz both of my 240s CC doesnt work and i couldnt figure out why.

Ritz, do u know how to use CC on a manual? plus your problem may be something else.

ok, so how do u know if yours is broken? with manuals you have to be in the "cruising" or 5th gear. with autos, you have to be going 35mph or faster.

lol i know how to use auto CC, my black auto i had (which sold last night) didnt work for sure, i'd have to try my 5spd, i'll give it a shot tomorrow when im on my way to work.

i was joking bout not knowing how to use CC in a auto, i used it all the time in my moms ridgeline when i was first leraning to drive and my manual the cruise control DOES NOT work that 4 hour trip was really painful comin down to San Marcos, drove non stop and always had to apply my foot on the gas, dam that fucking sucks, so by the time im done driving my ass is mad fucking sore and my foot will also be sore, cuz id have to move it jsut a little so it doesnt fall alseep.

daaamn ,lol yeah i know that feeling im so glad my cc is workn now .have to drive to houston soon thats like a 5hr drive ,goin the spd limit

haha doin hte speed limit is funny, there were times i was doin 80-85 in a 65 area, jsut gotta be on look out for cops for those who do not on a radar detector.
